Anyone else doing spring tour? we (team frame-it-yourself) agreed to and the very next day we got our commission checks for significantly more than we were expecting, another (high-ranked) team (endless bummer) said no and the very next day got significantly less. Coincidence?
I'm curious to see if it will be any better with completely new management, if not- who cares, take the money and enjoy the free traveling.
I know several other teams aren't going to, but it would be nice to see a few familiar faces again.

ugh spring is the worst, honestly it's not worth it (it wasnt under the old management, either). our commission checks the year i did spring were only $200! you gotta work in shitty weather conditions, kids dont buy as much shit because it's not fall, etc.
ReplyDeletewe didn't tell BTW if we'd be returning or not, they didn't ask. our commission check was for the exact amount we expected. did BTW rip people off? it's pretty easy to figure out how much money yr supposed to get. and if they do deduct money, they are supposed to send an email listing all the reasons why. that;s what happened last year when we were shorted $200 (shrinkage) and the year before we were shorted $50 (busted the truck mirror).
oh yeah, and after doing this job for 6 years i can happily say.. FUCK NO, I'LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!
Devils on the Loose are gearing up for/dreading spring tour. I guess when you have lived a life that makes you practically unemployable for a normal job you have to do stupid shit like this.
