Back on April 25th we got this email from David Summa:
"At this time I have been instructed that they are going through a restructuring and they should have financing in place in about 6-8 weeks. At that time they will be paying the unpaid commissions. The payment will be paid via direct deposit, the same account as you were previously paid in by Beyond the Wall."
We are nearing the 8th week, so has anyone gotten a deposit yet? I want us all to stay on top of this and GET OUR MONEY! Please post any news regarding this payment here...
no money yet, but BTW is hiring for the fall 2012 season. Will we see our money?

ReplyDeleteHere is an update from the case worker, for anyone who filed wage complaint forms. Looks like we will finally get our money, but in very small payments:
ReplyDelete"I have been working with Stella at Beyond The Wall on a payment plan. Their restructuring and refinancing is complete and they were not able to secure as much money as they wanted and offered a payment plan.
They will be paying $50.00 per month with the first payment next week, this will be for June. Payments will be in the form of a check. The checks will be sent to me and I will mail them to you. If your address has changed since you filed your complaint with the Bureau, I will need you to email your new address.
The additional payments will be made at the end of each month. Once some of the smaller amounts are paid off, the amount paid on the larger amounts will be increased. Beyond The Wall stated that once the next selling season begins and they begin to get a cash flow they will visit paying the outstanding claims in full, however that is not guaranteed."
Update: Looks like the teams from overseas will get paid their commission in one lump sum, while the rest of us get paid in $50/month installments. At least we're finally getting some of the money owed to us... but that means it could take as much as 20 months for my team to get paid in full. UGH!
ReplyDeleteIf BTW really is having money problems, then they need to pay last Fall's commission BEFORE they pay all the new teams from more recent seasons. Am I correct in saying that the teams from the Winter run have already been paid?
