Well, let's the ball rolling...

Not all the teams are on this blog. I was thinking we could use the voicemail to get the word out about the posible strike. We can't  send a general message because they could delete that, but if we volunteered to pass on the message to specic team number (in other words, i'll call teams1-5, you call 6-10 etc) then the would have to go through each mailbox individually. Right? If we all boycotted our next sale, what would our demands be? What percentage would we want the projections dropped? Could we get Michelle fired (only half serious about that one)?

  1. Are they really charging us face value for anything that gets stolen?!

  2. I think we should demand
    1. greater transparency: We should see what teams made at the school for the last 3 years, right next to the projections with a public request that schools show the employees last years numbers if they have them.
    2. Increased weekly income. That hasn't gone up in at least 5 years.

Also it's important that if one of us get's fired for presenting these demands, that everyone stops going to work. We have 8 teams right now--that should be more than enough, but more is better.
I would suggest against using messages. It would tip them off before the demand was met, and they can delete those really fast. We should chain phone call everyone we know. List the numbers in a google doc in the "wallthebeyond" account so others can't read it at all, and leave messages for the remaining teams after the demands have been made.
    -what do you guys think?

  3. those sound like good demands to me,do we want the projections lowered too, correlating with the price drop from last year? I personally don't know how to use the google doc function but I can probably figure it out. should we not leave our names associated with the phone numbers?

  4. Accessing google docs is easy. sign into the wallthebeyond account, go to mail.google.com, click on "documents" in top left, and then click on the only doc in there right now. You can edit it, and add the teams you are in contact with.

  5. I talked to some other people that are doing pretty well. I'm starting to think it's the same as the other years--shitty with the scales tilted against us, but maybe not tilted against us any more than usual. I think people have a tendency to post about doing bad more than doing good. I'm officially kind of thinking no on a strike
(one half of team wild dick).

  6. For me at least, it not really about how good or bad the runs are. It's about how they dropped poster prices without adjusting the projections.

  7. How much was the reduction in poster price? 5% something like that. maybe that's a good request.
